One of the great appeals of Network Marketing to so many people is that you can make unlimited amounts of money. It is unbelievable how much money we can make if we just put a little time into it.
And to make the big bucks we have to sponsor a lot people. Many, many, many people and we have to get our teams to do the same thing.
What happens sometimes, is that we get caught up in the recruiting and sponsoring and we focus on just getting more people into our business.
You might say “so what?”
The problem lies in the “getting” more people into our business.

Why is that?
Because this will lead into a me, me, me mentality. And “me” is not very flattering, and will probably not produce such great results.
So what are you supposed to do if you are not to focus on recruiting? How will we grow big teams and make money? I thought you’d never ask.
Here are the magic words…. “How can I help you?”
When talking with people take the focus off yourself and put it on the other person. Think about how you can help them. Don’t think about how you can “get” them into your business. They will see right through that anyway. If you have more of a ‘how can I help you?’ attitude, you will see more growth in your business.
Think about it from the perspective of the prospect. He is not thinking about joining your business to help you in your recruiting efforts. He’s thinking “what’s in it for me?” He has goals of his own.
He wants to know whether or not you can help him get to his goals.
Find out what he is looking for. What are his needs? How much money does he want to make in the next year or two. What are his long-term goals?
It could be college tuition for his children, paying off credit card debt, buying a new car, house, boat. Maybe he wants to go on more vacations.
With the goals he has in mind, how long will it take him to earn the money he needs with his current job? (Probably a long time). Your opportunity may provide him with a path to get him those things he has already told you he wants.
Ask him what his goals are. Then demonstrate how you can help him get there.
